Meet the Team
Kelly, President/Owner

Kelly graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics. Since 1989, she has gained experience in all areas of crop insurance. She is a true country girl who comes from four generations of farmers.

Coming from a strong farming and ranching background, Kelly knows the concerns and the ups and downs of both businesses and takes pride in her team’s ability to help people through tough times. Her dedication has paid off, since she was named Best Overall Insurance Agent by the Big Spring Herald's Readers' Choice Awards in 2012 and 2016. Kelly loves helping ranchers and farmers, but when she's not at work she enjoys going to the lake, hanging out with her family and helping her mom make jelly.
Sherry, Office Manager

Sherry graduated from Howard College with an associate degree in science and an associate degree in art. Sherry was the salutatorian of her class at Howard College. She taught Pre-K at a private school for 17 years and has been helping her daughter Kelly run the insurance business for over 20 years. Coming from a farming family and helping her husband farm for 45 years, she knows the potential perils of the agricultural industry and cares about others in the business. In fact, the Big Spring Herald's Readers' Choice Awards recognized her for the Best Customer Service in 2016. Sherry enjoys working in her garden, canning, baking and spending time with her family.
Hannah, Agent and Office Assistant

Hannah, Kelly's daughter, lends a hand or two around the office. She has been around the office since she was five days old. She has grown up knowing the customers and their needs. She understands the struggles that Mother Nature can deal out and knows how to help ranchers and farmers overcome those struggles. In 2016, Hannah got her insurance agent’s license and won the Big Spring Herald's Readers’ Choice Award for Friendliest Staff Member, which she also won in 2015. Hannah graduated from Texas Tech University in December 2017 with a degree in agricultural and applied economics. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the lake and playing with her dog Max.
Marla

Marla came to us in 2016 after gaining 33 years of experience working with ranchers and farmers at FSA. Marla is Kelly’s cousin, and like everyone else in the family, she has ample experience with farms and ranches outside of the insurance business. She’s spent her entire life living on farms and ranches, which gives her a deep understanding what the ups and downs ranchers and farmers face. Marla loves playing sports, reading and spending time with her grandkids.
